Ken Unger formed One Life Ministries (OLM) in 1982 to advance God's Kingdom through fulfilling the Great Commission by obeying the Great Commandments. The ministry does this through training events and resources to help all Christians make scriptural disciples by teaching "All people to obey all that He commanded." This means learning how to love as Jesus demonstrated and taught.
Over the last 20 years Ken learned how essential Transformational Healing is to that vision. It's so important that it became a part of God's very name through His Son, that 'Name above all names'. Many people understand that biblical names are important: they define a person's destiny and calling. But few people know what Jesus' name really means or implies. He is Jesus the Christ, our anointed Savior. He Himself said He was anointed to heal our brokenness and free us from our bondage to destructive patterns (cf. Luke 4 and Isaiah 61), i.e., to "Save us from our sins" (cf. Mathew 1:21).
Once Ken realized how important and necessary this healing is, he expanded the OLM mission to include it. So our current mission is "To Equip the Church around the world to fulfill the Great Commission by teaching all to obey the Great Commandments and Heal the Nations."
Since 1979 Ken has led spiritual growth and healing retreats and seminars across the US and Bahamas to train people for this. He has also developed Books, eBooks, CDs and DVD's to help people and churches fulfil these essential mandates.
Ken Unger believes that this vital mission can have global implications. He currently has outstanding invitations to go to Pakistan, India, Africa and China to spread this message. The invitation to Pakistan is from a 15,000 member church whose pastor wants his help training 10,000 indigenous pastors to create similar churches in every Muslim nation in the world. Ken believes that Islam is a spiritual problem and it ultimately requires a spiritual solution.
